The system uses MongoDB with 6 core collections (admins, students, exams, groups, submissions, settings), a REST API of around 40 endpoints, and two fully separated authentication flows for students and admins, each with its own cookie, JWT, and middleware.
I designed and built both the frontend and backend: the database schema, exam-taking engine, auto-grading logic, group-based visibility rules, manual review workflow for written answers, and the dashboard UI for both roles.
